Oh my brothers and sisters!
What has become of us today?
Surely we are running full speed to a pit of fire..
A fire which is fueled by the tricks and follies we hold so dear..
Oh my brothers and sisters!
What has become of Life today?
It has turned into a never-ending race to a mirage
Awarding medals and honor to things which have no form
Why do we think all our money and possessions define who we are?
No quantity of prizes or praises
Will make us feel more complete during our last breaths
Oh my brothers and sisters!
Is that why we are fighting today?
To feel recognized? Or higher than others?
To be Higher? Nay, a better question would be what is this 'distance' man perceives?
Scientists tells us we perceive distance
By the amount of light that reaches the depths of our eyes
Yet look to the rising and setting of the sun- its light gives life to all beings
But remains relative throughout all our days
So what makes us think trying to prove ourselves will accomplish anything absolute?
All that we learn and achieve will soon return to nothingness..
And for each knower there is still another higher knower!
So stop this nonsensical competition!
We may keep our feelings secret or proclaim them-
But there is a knower above all creation who knows either way..
The light of this knower never grows dim..
And it is closer to us than our own necks!
Oh my brothers and sisters!
Why do we reject this light today?
Anything which perceived only by the heart is cast aside
We would much rather wonder at lights and things
That appeal to our eyes and other lower senses
And now we have created blinding lasers!
To guide us when our limited vision fails
Verily, my brothers and sisters
There is a laser inside all of us
That is supremely stronger and brighter
Than that which he have made today-
And it is healing to so many ailments!
If only we would look within..
So let us shine laser beams of love from our hearts
In order that we may dissect the impure growths
We have nurtured all our lives..
Look at us now my brothers and sisters!
Our impure habits and dealings have taken firm root in the earth
We condone a most impure lifestyle indeed!
Thousands and thousands of idols we worship daily!
If man but knew the evil inherent in them
We would surely rid ourselves of them and beg for mercy!
Still- we grew tired of the idols our ancestors made sacrifices to
Which did not speak back to us when we gave them our precious time-
So we created ones that do that too! And how much more entertaining they are indeed!
